Corporate Milestones
1990 - Yuntong (PRC) set up to manufacture BOPP
film.
1991 - Imported first production line from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
with annual capacity of 5000 tonnes of BOPP film.
1995 - Awarded the !SO 9001 certification by TUV CERT Certification Body
of RWTUV Anlagentechnik GmbH. Then President of China Mr Jiang Zemin
visited Yuntong plant.
1997 - Imported second production line from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
with annual capacity of 18,000 tonnes of BOPP film. Started production
of tobacco film, apart from plain BOPP film.
2001 - Awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Quality System Certificate by the China
Quality Certification Centre for Import and Export. Established Shanghai
branch to facilitate sales and marketing efforts.
2002 - Enhanced second production line to increase production capacity.
2002 - Recognised as a High Technology Enterprise by Guangdong's Science
and Technology Committee.
2003 - Recognised as a business which belonged to an industry that is
encouraged and promoted by the state. China Flexpack incorporated in
July 2003. Announced intention to list on the SGX-ST.
